What Can I Do?

What Is A Libertarian? You can do anything you want to provided that it doesn't involve using coercion on someone else.

"I swear by my life and my love of  it that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine." ~ John Galt

If The Libertarian Party Ran The City of Philadelphia We would make you richer by abolishing the City Wage Tax (currently 4.46%), the Business Privilege Tax & the Real Estate Tax. After all it's your money. With thousands of dollars extra in your pocket, you could then educate your child at any school you choose. We would sell PGW, the Convention Center & the Airports & use the cash to pay off the City's debt. We would encourage teachers to band together to set up safe, new schools offering lessons in real subjects that parents want their kids to learn. To reduce crime we would arrange for the Police to be employed directly by local neighborhood associations. We would instruct the District Attorney & the Police to stop prosecuting people for victimless crimes. To ensure justice for all sections of society we would remind juries of their right to not enforce unconstitutional laws. To encourage tourism, we would abolish the Hotel Room Tax & the Rental Car Tax.

We Meet On the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 8pm at the Raven Lounge, 1718 Sansom Street, Philadelphia. Dissatisfied with the Democrats or the Republicans? Curious about something completely different? Come along for great food & beer & friendly, lively discussion. All are welcome - meet us upstairs. Convenient to SEPTA Regional, Red and Blue Lines. Concerned about Parking? There is always plenty of roon and $5 Flat Fee Parking in the Garage at 15th and Vine.
