Jim Compton



Jim is a retired Naval Officer of 25 years service. He graduated from Tarkio College in 1969 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. Upon graduation, he entered the Navy s Aviation Officer Candidate School and received a Commission as an Ensign in January 1970. In February 1971 he earned the designation of Naval Aviator. After several squadron and shipboard tours, Jim attended the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey California and earned a Master s Degree in Information Systems. His last three tours were associated with his Information Systems education.


After his retirement in 1994, Jim began his lifetime dream of building his own home. He also volunteered as a project manager for building a Habit for Humanity home. Jim has been involved in We the People Foundation for Constitutional Education, Lions and church activities.


Jim has been married for 38 years and is the father of two daughters and a son and is grandfather of two little girls. His hobbies include winemaking, gardening and bee keeping.

One year ago, Jim invited Aaron Bolinger up from South Carolina to assist in efforts to reject Real ID in Pennsylvania. Aaron was successful in having South Carolina pass a law rejecting Real ID in that state.


In February of last year, Jim volunteered to be the Pennsylvania State Coordinator for Aaron Russo's American Freedom to Fascism organization or as known today, Restore the Republic organization. He has been actively involved as a citizen's lobbyist in efforts to have the Real ID act rejected by our state general assembly. To date (31 May) there are 90 Representatives and 16 Senators in Harrisburg that have co-sponsored bills to reject Real ID in Pennsylvania.
